On November 6, 2025, the 7th National Pre-stressed Steel Strand Industry Chain Conference and the Specialized Pre-stressing Conference for the Wire Products Industry was successfully held in Wuhan. Co-hosted by Shanghai Steel Union, the Wire Products Industry Branch of the China Steel Structure Association, and Xinji Aosen Metal Products Co., Ltd., the event revolved around the core theme of high-quality upgrading across the pre-stressed steel strand industry chain. It gathered representatives from upstream and downstream enterprises, industry experts, and association members to jointly promote the coordinated upgrading and innovative development of the entire steel strand industry chain.
Dong Dong, Chairman of the Wire Products Industry Branch of the China Steel Structure Association, Liu Wei of Xinji Aosen Metal Products Co., Ltd., and Wang Ni, Assistant President of Shanghai Steel Union E-Commerce Co., Ltd., delivered speeches at the conference respectively.

Aosen Metal Products' Representative Liu Wei Addresses Conference
Liu Wei provided an incisive analysis of the current development status of the pre-stressed steel strand industry. He emphasized the need to pursue product innovation and upgrading while carrying out a full-scale layout of the steel strand sales market. He clarified that Aosen Metal Products will adhere to a customer demand-oriented approach, give full play to its resource advantages, intensify R&D efforts on high-performance steel for pre-stressed steel strands, optimize new processes and apply new technologies, promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and fulfill the "dual carbon" goals. Meanwhile, the company will accelerate the intelligent transformation of the entire production process, improve the product traceability system, strengthen quality control, and provide customers with higher-quality, more reliable products as well as comprehensive pre-sales, in-sales and after-sales services.
Against the backdrop of the urgent need to identify growth opportunities in the current steel strand market, he put forward a dual-pronged strategy of “demand-driven R&D coupled with overseas market expansion”. This strategic initiative emphasizes niche market segmentation, full-industry-chain collaboration, and joint exploration of emerging application areas. Precisely addressing the key pain points of the sector, the proposal was widely endorsed by all conference attendees.
Following the conclusion of the remarkable address, Zhang Jiangyu, Director of the China Transport System Research Center, Chang Haoyu, Senior Engineer at the Digital & Intelligent Engineering Technology Research Institute of China Railway 18th Bureau Group, and Li Wenzhou, Vice President of the Roadway Institute of China Coal Technology and Engineering Group Mining Research Institute Co., Ltd., delivered keynote speeches respectively.
