Aosen Metal Products Showcases at the 2025 Wire Products Coating Conference, Discussing Industry Development and Demonstrating Corporate Responsibility

On August 28, 2025, the Coated Steel Wire Professional Conference of the Wire Products Industry Branch of the China Steel Structure Association (referred to as the Branch) was held in Shanghai.

The conference invited experts from organizations including the Wire and Cable Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, the Fire Protection and Anti-corrosion Branch of the China Steel Structure Association, and Shanghai Steel Union E-commerce Co., Ltd. As the chair unit and one of the leading enterprises of the Wire Products Branch, Xinji Aosen Metal Products Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Aosen Metal Products”) was invited to attend this industry gathering. Together with experts from across the country and nearly 30 representatives from 18 enterprises, they explored new pathways for the development of coating and plating technologies and jointly charted a new blueprint for the industry's future.

This conference featured in-depth discussions on the current status, future trends, and the 15th Five-Year Plan for coated products, providing cutting-edge perspectives and professional guidance for industry development.

Participants engaged in lively discussions around the report, drawing on their own corporate experiences. They unanimously agreed that coated steel wire and stranded wire products must promptly track the technological development needs of downstream industries. As experts emphasized: - Coatings must evolve toward high strength and low relaxation; - Toward ultra-large and ultra-fine specifications; - Toward ultra-thin coatings and extended corrosion resistance. Products must not only offer corrosion resistance but also fire resistance, matching the service life of the entire structure. They must deliver corrosion resistance suitable for both overhead lines and submarine cables.

Liu Zhe, Executive Chairman of the Branch, stated in his address that our coated steel wire enterprises must use the insights provided by expert reports as a guide. We should conduct in-depth research into the technological trends of downstream industries, analyze market supply and demand, and fully leverage our own strengths. By specializing, refining, and perfecting our products, we will build them into world-class brands both domestically and internationally.

Zhang Jianguo, Standing Council Member and Head of the Coating and Plating Professional Group, reviewed the development journey of coated and plated steel wire products, processes, technologies, and equipment in his concluding remarks. He emphasized that as downstream demand sectors continue to innovate and evolve, our coated and plated steel wire products—whether in terms of products, processes, technologies, or equipment—must keep pace with market demands through continuous innovation to meet the needs of all sectors of the national economy.
