Temporary Lifting Rigging for the Steel Structure Roof of Xiongan Station
As Asia’s largest high-speed rail station, Xiongan Station features a steel structure roof weighing 42,000 tons, adopting a "welded spherical node joint + cantilever truss" design. To achieve precise positioning of the 360-meter-span main truss, temporary lifting rigging is indispensable—requiring exceptional strength, impact resistance, and facilitated installation.
Aosen steel wire is produced from 2000MPa-grade high-carbon steel wire rod (SWRH82B). The resulting high-strength lifting wire rope slings-with a diameter of 36mm and matching wedge-type connectors are subjected to a "lead bath quenching" heat treatment process, delivering a single-strand breaking strength of 680 kN and a safety factor of ≥ 6.
For the 2020 steel structure roof hoisting project of Xiongan Station, 28 synchronized lifting slings were utilized, achieving a maximum positioning deviation of ≤ 3% and realizing "zero-stress" positioning of the main truss. Having withstood gusts reaching Beaufort Scale 8, the slings exhibited no deformation. This proven technology has since been extended to major construction projects, including the Beijing Urban Sub-center and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Terminal 3, with a cumulative hoisting capacity exceeding 200,000 tons.
