Aogang is a PC strand manufacturer supplying prestressed steel strand for bridges, railways, highways, tunnels, large buildings, precast concrete structures, and mine support projects. The product is manufactured by stranding multiple high-strength carbon steel wires and applying stabilization treatment. It is used to introduce compressive stress into concrete before the structure is subjected to service loads.
Our product range includes 1×7 and 1×19 prestressed steel strand, as well as HDPE-sheathed unbonded steel strand. Common diameters include 12.7 mm, 15.24 mm, and 15.7 mm, with additional sizes available according to the required strand construction. Products can be manufactured to GB/T 5224, ASTM A416, BS 5896, EN 10138, JIS G 3536, and other contract-specified standards.

Aogang uses SWRH82B high-carbon steel raw material for standard prestressed strand production. Diameter, strength, length and unbonded construction can be customized according to the project specification.

PC Strand is specifically manufactured for prestressed concrete. It has controlled tensile strength, elongation, relaxation, dimensions and stabilization treatment. Ordinary steel strand cannot be used as a direct substitute.How do I choose between 12.7 mm, 15.24 mm and 15.7 mm?
These diameters have different nominal areas, unit weights and breaking forces. They may also correspond to different standards and anchorage systems. Follow the project design specification.
One principal acceptance standard should be selected. If the project has additional requirements from another standard, these requirements should be listed individually in the technical agreement.
Yes. The corrosion-inhibiting grease, HDPE sheath, sheath thickness, external diameter and integrity test requirements should be specified.
Relaxation testing can be arranged according to the selected standard and contract. Confirm the relaxation class, test load and report format before ordering.
