Except for the center wire, the steel wires in each layer within the strand have uniform diameters. The strands cross each other with point contact stress, making it a general-purpose basic type steel wire rope. Cross-lay Steel Wire Rope
Cross-lay Steel Wire Rope is constructed so that the wires within each strand run in a different direction from the strands around the core. This arrangement provides stable handling, good resistance to deformation, and dependable performance in lifting, traction, suspension, hoisting, and other industrial operations. Available constructions include 6×7, 6×19, 6×24, 6×37, 8×7, 8×19, and 8×37, allowing you to balance abrasion resistance, flexibility, bending-fatigue performance, and load requirements.
