Aosen cross-lay steel wire rope selects high-quality carbon structural steel raw materials self-produced by the group. Except for the center wire, the steel wires in each layer within the strand have uniform diameters. The strands cross each other with point contact stress, making it a general-purpose basic type steel wire rope. Cross-lay Steel Wire Rope

Cross-lay Steel Wire Rope is constructed so that the wires within each strand run in a different direction from the strands around the core. This arrangement provides stable handling, good resistance to deformation, and dependable performance in lifting, traction, suspension, hoisting, and other industrial operations. Available constructions include 6×7, 6×19, 6×24, 6×37, 8×7, 8×19, and 8×37, allowing you to balance abrasion resistance, flexibility, bending-fatigue performance, and load requirements.

(Note: The suffix M is the standard ordinary point contact code, different from line contact S/W/Fi structures, and is the exclusive model for layered equal-diameter steel wire twisting.)


Core Structural Features

  • Steel wire configuration: Only the center wire is thickened, and the steel wires in each layer within the strand have consistent diameters.

  • Twisting process: Layered independent twisting, with different lay lengths for each layer and similar lay angles, resulting in regular forming.

  • Stress form: Inner and outer layer steel wires cross and squeeze, forming point contact stress, standard point contact structure.
